  • A: To true up the deck  &   To get rid of the old numbers  and put the factory grain/broach lines in it to restamp for the customer,    This way We do not have to send it back to our  machine shop for this operation.   We have them do all operations  so it is ready to ID (stamp for restoration),  this saves a  lot of time and labor/ transportation etc.

  • Q:  What is your guarantee on the block? 
  • A:  Guaranteed rebuildable.
    if the  your machinist puts a cutter thru the cylinder wall - he owns it.   Fair ?

  •  ENGINE ASSEMBLIES:

  • We build complete "Long block assemblies" -built /balanced / done- from pan up to and including heads installed with new push rods and rocker arms adjusted and test run on a $30K mechanical engine run-in machine- spins the balanced assembly at about 350rpms - compression tests are done as well a complete visual inspection of plugs -check for plug leaks,  oiling system etc. , includes the  harmonic balancer installation labor but not the part.    No sheet metal, i.e.
  • no timing cover, no oil pan, no valve covers or intake --they are all optional -we carry a massive inventory of all those parts as well as exhaust manifolds, carbs 2x4 setups.
    rebuilt and stamped i.d. to your Corvette with codes. correct castings etc. dates.

Corvette no welding.  Not a restamp, original deck surface, water passages are free of excess rust, date cast Dec 26 or 28 1967. perfect for 1968 model car for restoration, not many left casting no. 3916321, & prefix TO229IL indicate a 390hp. Corvette, but could be used for a Copo Camaro  or Copo Duce Clone,  maybe even a Chevelle SS you decide. This Block is in excellent shape, $2,500
