The Chevrolet Corvette first appeared in 1953 as a unique American entry into the sports car market dominated by European makes. Although not a muscle car by definition, the Corvette used muscle car powertrains and has represented advanced racing and automotive technologies towards American performance for almost fifty years. With the advent of the 427 - 425 HP Roadsters in 1966 it took the muscle car market by storm. One of the most sought after collector cars and one of the most powerful muscle cars ever produced, the 1966 427 - 425 HP Corvette Roadster. 

This Corvette performs as original - The Engine has a complete rebuild with new 11:1 Forged pistons,  Forged crankshaft, NOS oil pan, Solid  Cam and lifters, Runs very strong has approx. 100 miles on fresh rebuild, Complete with Engine Balancing card, Engine run-in testing card. It is a numbers matching restamp restoration motor. see Date codes below

  code: 984 paint showed wear - (yes). The Corvette has fresh Paint (complete strip and paint) done  over a 3  year period to allow gel coat and primers to dry  for 6 months each, resulting in a zero shrinkage in bodywork and paint for many years  by A quality shop -here in San diego that we use regularly.

The Corvette has a professionally rebuilt Numbers matching engine, M-21 Trans, and 3.70 Posi Rear end. Dates and numbers listed below.
