1965 CHEVROLET CORVETTE SPORT COUPE - PROJECT
This is a 1965 Chevrolet, Small Block Corvette in all of it's unfinished glory! It looks like the old man ran out of steam and left this project for some lucky person! Crane inherited it in a trade.
All Front suspension component are all new or rebuilt , including the bushings.
Transmission..M-20 Muncie.DONE!
The engine is DONE! Look closely at the pictures! The Engine is a fully balanced 4-bolt main with the L79 350/350HP 1965 Camshaft done by WAM/Crane.
The body..nearly done! Apparently, our hero began at the end; of the car that is, and completed the body work up to the nose. A local restoration shop estimated five days full time by 2 professionals to prepare the body for paint.
The Hi-Perf 4-bolt Engine and drive train was wrapped in plastic prior to the photography. boxes of pieces and parts come along with the car. I can not give a complete inventory of parts, however I can assure you that it is very complete and here are the important items:
Radiator Core support, Headlights complete with new motors. It needs new dash pads, door panels , seats and carpet. ( most individuals want a certain color , so you can build this one the way you want All 4 bumpers and the front bumper brackets 6 pieces, all 4 chrome vent grills behind the door, used front grill installed. + Wiper grills, front and rear windshield trim outer stainless sets===+

The front clip is 1967 Louver design - yes the famous 5 vertical Gill design reminiscent of the last Stingray. The owner loved that design and had it installed years ago and it is aftermarket and a wavy - needs body filler and finishing.
The frame is DONE! It is a fully done restoration frame of California Origin Zero pit no rust - looks Excellent and painted with the GM restoration Paint original finish.
All of the exterior stainless trim and bumpers are included with the car. The headlights are complete with New headlight motors, all pivots, supports and the Bezels.
This is a restoration that will result in a $50K+ car when done (hint); one just sold at Bloomington Gold it was red/red for $ ALOT
============= If you are in the San Diego or Southern Calif. area - I highly recommend you view the Corvette in person, it sure beats flying to the east coast to look at a non-calif. Corvette.( people actually do that) so , check with your wife first - get permission - sell your VW or whatever and "Get it on" in
a Corvette.
